The 8th Conference on Sustainable Mobility – CSuM2026, will take place on Skyros Island in Greece on 1 – 3 July 2026. The event serves as an international platform for knowledge dissemination and collaborative exchange of good practices among researchers, decision makers, service providers, academicians and students active in the domain of sustainable transportation.
Through its main theme, “Green and Digital Transition”, the conference aims to explore how digital technologies, such as AI, big data, automation, and connectivity, can work hand-in-hand with green policies, renewable energy, and low-emission solutions to transform mobility.
The conference is organized by the University of Thessaly, Department of Civil Engineering, Traffic, Transportation and Logistics Laboratory – TTLog, in collaboration with the University of Kentucky and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Technical sessions, special sessions and workshops, demonstrations and exhibition focus around the following thematic tracks:
- Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Mobility
- Climate-Neutral and Resilient Transportation Systems
- Sustainable Freight, Logistics and Supply Chains
- Active, Shared and Inclusive Mobility
- Policy Innovation and Collective Governance
- Transportation and Land-Use Integration
This year features:
- Key notes by distinguished researchers and practitioners, on innovative policies and breakthrough applications.
- Summer school, prior and in parallel with the conference works, granting academic credits to the participants.
- Special sessions and workshops, organized by consortia of national and European projects and other organizations.
- Young Researchers Awards for best papers of the thematic tracks.
Exhibition and demonstrations, allowing sponsors and supporters of CSuM2026 to promote their companies’ activities and latest products.
